Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a weekly inspiration challenge blog and each week we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!
Lesley here! We are back after a lovely Christmas break with our families! We hope you enjoyed your holidays too! Happy New Year!
This week I have invited...Broni Holcombe to be our Creative Guest!!
I asked Broni to share a bit about herself...
1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?
You can find me at Splashes of Watercolor. I started blogging in late 2007 when I was on the Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen design team.
2. What is your style of card making?
I have evolved over the years and find that I prefer a clean and simple style, mostly using watercolors and/or Copic markers.
3. Who inspires you as a designer?
There are so many talented designers out there now and I find inspiration everywhere. Some of my favorites are Kay Miller for her watercoloring and clean designs, Debbie Olsen for her Copic marker artistry, and Maile Belles for her simple and unique design technique.
4. What sort of things inspire you as a card maker? Photos? Sketches? Other designers?
I love finding inspiration on Pinterest from other card makers and also from the many wonderful challenge blogs out there in blog land. I'm especially partial to sketches.
5. Share something about yourself that we may not know?
That's a tough one. How about the fact that I once hula-hooped for 2.5 hours straight! (It was in a contest. Many years ago. Yes, I won!)
Here is Broni's card using this week's inspiration!
The challenge designers have also created a card for this week's inspiration! These ladies just inspire me SO much!!! I hope you will play along with us this week! We would love to have you join us!
