Inspired by #81 {with Kelly Lunceford}

Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a bi-weeklyinspiration challenge blog and each month we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

*Please note, the link up will be added shortly...

This week I have invited the talented and lovely, Kelly Lunceford!

I am always in awe of Kelly's style! She effortlessly throws papers and colours and stamps together, creating mini works of art! Kelly has been a guest here before...but I just had to ask her again! She inspires me so much!

I asked her a few NEW questions....

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?

My blog is called Flutterbyatomicbutterfly and I started it in January of 2008 as part of a design team requirement.

2. How do you start a card? What’s your “process”?

I start my designs by following my mind's eye. I generally can envision where I want my design to go and then my brain lets my hands do the rest! It's so much fun to see my imaginings come to life!

3. How were you inspired by the inspiration for this challenge?

I took a very literal approach as I picked the elements to create for my card. I knew I had a very similar flower image and the vintage label was just begging to be recreated! The soft blue of the glass was easily represented with distress ink and die cut vellum. I couldn't resist adding a few seashells as well!

4. What’s one technique you dislike when crafting?

I'm not sure exactly how to explain this (ha ha)...there really aren't any techniques that I dislike, just when the end result isn't showcased in a pleasing way.

Here is Kelly's card using this week's inspiration!

The challenge designers have also created a card for this week's inspiration! These ladies just inspire me SO much!!! I hope you will play along with us this week! We would love to have you join us!
