Inspiring Stand Outs for Challenge 82

Wow, everyone did such an amazing job with Inspired By All The Little Things Challenge #82.

Here are the challenge standouts:

Kelly - I pick #18 Berina

I fell head over heels in love with Berina's bright, crisp, and colorful card, but her addition of the bee theme stole my heart! There's just something about bees that gets me every time! I guess what I'm trying to say is, her card is the bee's knees! LOL!

Lesley -  I chose #11-Rahmat

I love how Rahmat captured the essence of the photo with her clean and simple card. The masking looks so cool with the font she chose. A very pretty card!

Inspired by #81 {with Kelly Lunceford}

Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a bi-weeklyinspiration challenge blog and each month we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

*Please note, the link up will be added shortly...

This week I have invited the talented and lovely, Kelly Lunceford!

I am always in awe of Kelly's style! She effortlessly throws papers and colours and stamps together, creating mini works of art! Kelly has been a guest here before...but I just had to ask her again! She inspires me so much!

I asked her a few NEW questions....

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?

My blog is called Flutterbyatomicbutterfly and I started it in January of 2008 as part of a design team requirement.

2. How do you start a card? What’s your “process”?

I start my designs by following my mind's eye. I generally can envision where I want my design to go and then my brain lets my hands do the rest! It's so much fun to see my imaginings come to life!

3. How were you inspired by the inspiration for this challenge?

I took a very literal approach as I picked the elements to create for my card. I knew I had a very similar flower image and the vintage label was just begging to be recreated! The soft blue of the glass was easily represented with distress ink and die cut vellum. I couldn't resist adding a few seashells as well!

4. What’s one technique you dislike when crafting?

I'm not sure exactly how to explain this (ha ha)...there really aren't any techniques that I dislike, just when the end result isn't showcased in a pleasing way.

Here is Kelly's card using this week's inspiration!

The challenge designers have also created a card for this week's inspiration! These ladies just inspire me SO much!!! I hope you will play along with us this week! We would love to have you join us!

Kimberly Lackenbach
Kim was inspired by the Queen Anne's Lace flowers and the labels on the bottles.

LauraJane
Inspired by the Greens and script labels

Leigh Penner
Leigh was inspired by the white flowers with green stems in glass bottles,
as well as the old script lettering on the bottles.

Marcie Sharp
 Sharp Designs
Marcie was inspired by the pale blues and greens and the flowers in the vases.
Sheri Gilson
Sheri was inspired by the glass bottles filled with beautiful flowers.

Silke Ledlow
Silke was inspired by the colors and the flowers.

Wanda Cullen
Inspired by the earthy colors and trio of bottles

We hope you will play along with us!
