Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a weekly inspiration challenge blog and each week we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

This week I have invited my dear friend, Kristie Goulet to be our Creative Guest! Kristie and I have been friends online for a long time now! She is such a talented designer and a wonderful person!

I asked Kristie to share a bit about herself...

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?

The name of my blog is Kreative Kristie.  I began blogging in January of 2013 after wanting to participate in some online card challenges.  I loved the idea of being able to share my work, participate in some challenges and meet others who share the love of stamping.

2. What is your style of card making?

I definitely lean towards clean and simple cards. 

3. Who inspires you as a designer?

There are far too many to name!  So many amazing designers in the crafting community.

4. What sort of things inspire you as a card maker? Photos? Sketches? Other designers?

I use lots of different things to inspire me, other card makers, clothing, signs, nature, magazines.  So much out there to inspire.

5. Share something about yourself that we may not know?

I married my high school sweetheart and we will be celebrating our 20 year anniversary in August.

I love how Michele was inspired by the lavender and the tea reminding her of the lavender tea she drank when she lived in China. Her beautifully watercoloured stitched squares picked up the colours of the inspiration photo.

Inspired by All the Little Things - featuring Lisa Elton

Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a weekly inspiration challenge blog and each week we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

This week I have invited Lisa Elton to be my guest as our Creative Designer! Lisa and I have been friends since we began blogging as we both started our blogs in 2011. We were both among the first handful of followers on each other's blogs. Lisa currently designs for Pretty Pink Posh and she is also a designer at the 12 Kits of Occasions. Visit her blog is is full of the most wonderful creations. I asked Lisa a few questions about herself to share with you today...

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?

My blog is called My Paper Tales. I began blogging in April of 2011 after discovering blogs and design teams of various stamp companies. I liked the idea of a place to share my work, try my hand at challenges and meet others who shared the love of stamping.

2. What is your style of card making?

I don't think I have one particular style. Clean lines without too much fuss are what I like best. Pretty papers, die cuts and a few embellies along with my stamping make me happy. I like to mix it up to keep my readers interested!

3. Who inspires you as a designer?

There are far too many to name! This is a talented crafting community!

4. What sort of things inspire you as a card maker? Photos? Sketches? Other designers?

Everything! Other card makers, fabric, nature, magazines. You name it, my mind can spot a card in just about anything!!

5. Share something about yourself that we may not know?

Well...on warm days when I'm driving alone, I like to open all my car windows, moon roof too and crank up my U2 CD to a sonic level!!

Inspired By All The Little Things featuring Cheri Bury

Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a weekly inspiration challenge blog and each week we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

It's Karen with you, and this week I have invited...

 The very talented Cheri Bury!  We met online when we were on two design teams together, and realized that we live about an hour apart, so we've been lucky enough to meet up several times and spend some crafty time together.  I love her bright & fun creations, and her colouring is just amazing.  Check out Cheri's blog, CheriB Designs to get all the details on the two gorgeous cards that she made to share with us this week

I asked Cheri to share a bit about herself...

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?

I called my blog CheriB Designs. I started my blog in November of 2013, because I wanted to start entering challenges and showcase my cards. It’s also a great way to see how far you have progressed.

2. What is your style of card making?

I’d say my style is bold and fun! I love using bright colors and layering my images and papers to make everything stand out.

3. Who inspires you as a designer?

When I first started card making, I was (and still am inspired) by Amy Rysavy from Prairie Paper & Ink. I loved that she is also Canadian and has great videos on her card making techniques. Since then I am also inspired by Sharon Caudle (Gramma’s House of Cards), Karen Day (Karen’s Creations) and Sandy Allnock. All great Designers with each having their own great styles!

4. What sort of things inspire you as a card maker? Photos? Sketches? Other designers?

I find my inspiration starts with whatever stamp I am using and then progress’s to the paper collection I am using. I have a 6x6 paper pad addiction LOL - and the papers and colors help with my inspiration. I also get a ton of inspiration from Pinterest!

  

5. Share something about yourself that we may not know?

Today is actually my 12th Anniversary. I met my Husband online and it’s been an awesome adventure with him ever since! We had a very small wedding and my Grandma was my Maid of Honour. She was thrilled and touched to be asked and that is one of the best memories I have of her from that special day!

Elizabeth amazed me with her ingenuity - lovingly hand cutting each triangle and piecing them together for this bright bold background. The simple sentiment and light embellishing draw your eye to the sentiment, but don't take away from the hand pieced background she created. Elizabeth YOU are Amazing!!

Inspired by All the Little Things Featuring Kara Vrabel

Hello and welcome to Inspired By All The Little Things! This is a weekly inspiration challenge blog and each week we feature a wonderful designer who inspires us as an artist!

This week I've asked Kara Vrabel to join us! You might know Kara from her designs at WPlus9.  We got to know each other through a group of crafty friends at the 12 Kits of Occasions.  Kara has an eye for graphic design and is not afraid to take chances.   She's an amazing stamper who makes amazing backgrounds, and her ability to work with different media astounds me!

I asked Kara a few questions so we can get to know her better!!

1. What is the name of your blog? When and why did you start it?
My blog is Kandrdesigns and I started blogging in 2008. I thought blogging would be a great way to share some of the things I was creating and to connect with people who share the same passion for paper.

2. What is your style of card making?
My style is probably clean, but not always simple. I love color and patterns with bold accents of black.

3. Who inspires you as a designer?
So many people inspire me! Check out my weekly Friday Inspiration File on Pinterest.   Friday Inspiration File - My favorite projects {Created by YOU} added weekly!

4. What sort of things inspire you as a card maker? Photos? Sketches? Other designers?
I really get inspired by prints on clothing, geometric designs, print advertisements and the stamps themselves spark ideas.

5. Share something about yourself that we may not know?
I love Brussels Sprouts! They are one of the top 'most hated vegetables', but I think they are delicious!
